Nickolas Praulins, Head of Primary School
Nickolas has had experience working across various geographies at both the Primary and vocational-education levels. He began his teaching career in Australia in 2006, and taught at schools in both Adelaide and Melbourne. In 2010, he moved to Johannesburg, South Africa, taking on Head of Grade, Director of Thinking Skills and Director of Marketing roles. While in South Africa, he also coordinated the development of a number of literacy and numeracy resources, endorsed by the South African Department of Basic Education, as well as authoring a weekly educational supplement for The Star national newspaper. In 2015, he moved to Frankfurt and was the Service Manager at Wall Street English before joining the Phorms staff in 2016. He has been the Head of Primary since September 2017.
Jasmin Mendez, School Assistant
Jasmin Mendez is a Foreign Language Assistant. After her 1 year abroad in the USA she worked in the field of Sales and Human Recourses. In her last position she was employed as an Executive Assistant/Office Manager at a Financial Service Provider. Since 2016 she is responsible for the front office organisation of the Phorms School Frankfurt City Campus.
Dana Coggio, acting Extra Curricular Coordinator
Dana Coggio started working at Phorms in 2018 as a Teaching Assistant, and became Acting Hort Coordinator in July 2019. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Madison with a degree in German and Political Science. She has over 6-years’ experience teaching English and German as a second language to primary and secondary students in both the United States and Europe. She is currently working to support and expand the Hort Program at the Phorms’ Frankfurt – City Campus.
Anne-Marie Powell, Deputy Head of Primary
As a Primary Educator with 10 years of experience, Anne-Marie Powell has worked in both State and International school settings in Nottingham, London and Frankfurt. Throughout her diverse career, Anne-Marie has taught across the full Primary spectrum, from Reception to Grade 6.
Anne-Marie earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Primary Education from Nottingham Trent University with specializations in English Language, Holistic Learning, Sport and the Arts. She has a working knowledge of multiple curriculums, including the British National Curriculum, Primary Years Program and Cambridge International Curriculum.
